Meet the Founder

Ronda Carroll was born and raised in Victoria, Texas. At age 16 Ronda began pursuing her love and passion for acting and theatre arts. She spent several months modeling in Paris, France and then on to Hollywood at age 18. These two years brought adventure and opportunities every young girl would want, but something was missing during this promising acting career. Ronda was a believer and loved Jesus with all her heart. After much prayer she heard Jesus tell her loud and clear, “You will be on stage, just not this stage.” She returned to her hometown to seek God’s new promise. Ronda was soon married and began experiencing intrusive and unwanted thoughts that left her empty, confused, and paralyzed. Then 20 years old and soon to be a mother, she was diagnosed with a classical severe case of OCD. From this point she began her 18-year journey in the desert, referring to the Israelites in the book of Exodus. She could also relate to the thorn in Paul’s side in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient, and my power is made perfect in your weakness.” Confident that Jesus never left her side, Ronda continued to battle OCD. She experienced many faces; categories of OCD alongside the challenge of being a single mom. Her son Justin Dean was her blessing from above. Together with her love for him and a deep love for Christ, she was determined not to give up on God’s promises in His word...2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a SOUND mind."

Ronda persevered against all odds, as she never received traditional OCD therapy due to limited funds; resources. She experienced healing through the help of God, through Cognitive and ERP (exposure-response therapy). All orchestrated by Him alone, yet unknown to her at the time. Eunoia5 ministries was birthed out of Ronda’s journey. “Eunoia” means “Beautiful Thinking” and a Well-Mind. In the medical field the number “5” stands for GRACE in the bible. The healing process that Ronda experienced is something that God wants her to bestow to those struggling with OCD. She strives to give them hope and faith in Christ; to persevere when OCD is screaming to quit.

Today, she is being introduced to the “stage” God had planned for her 18 years ago. It is that of a Christian speaker and advocate for Christ, OCD, and mental health awareness. She shares Christ’s salvation, unfailing love, and His miraculous ability to heal. Ronda resides in Tomball, Texas with her son Justin and daughter in-law Tiffany, whom she loves. Her granddaughter Daisy LaVelle is her ray of sunshine; the most beautiful reflection of God’s love!! Yes, today Ronda shares, “This journey was long and filled with many heartaches, losses, fears, and failures that dealing with OCD can bring.” She is grateful for the peace and love she receives from her everyday life and the future to come. She would not change a thing!

Our VISION and MISSION

 

Eunoia5 Ministries mission is to provide Encouragement, Christ’ love to Christians and non-Christians battling OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) To help move them towards recovery and healing and knowing Jesus as their personal Savior. Through Christ centered seminars, radio, podcasts, and one on one coaching, I am dedicated to sharing my personal journey with OCD and to see Christians around the world live and lead a healthy life free from OCD. Eunoia5 Ministries will also raise money to provide financial assistance for individuals that are battling OCD. With the high cost of therapy and or medical attention this will aid in each recipient’s ability to receive professional OCD treatment at their discretion and or their licensed therapist’s discretion.

In addition to providing financial assistance for those needing proper medical attention outside of Eunoia5 Ministries, our future plans are to build and facilitate a 30, 60 and 90 day OCD Discipleship home for Recovery and Healing.

Our bottom line is to see people of all walks of life in our community and those around the world inside the church and outside of the church receive the resources needed to be set free from OCD. Our final goal at Eunoia5 Ministries is for our participants to be able to live the life that God called them to live and if in need of a Savior to accept Christ’ free invitation as their Personal Lord and Savior!
